The Spell Has Broken!

Yippee Skippy!  I embroidered a little bear nose yesterday evening using a new technique, a sharp doll's needle, and all turned out well.  Thank goodness the dry spell seems to be finally over!

Since I seem to have returned to the realm of bears, now would be a good time to FINALLY show you some TBAI photos from nearly 2 weeks ago.  It was absolutely wonderful meeting all of these people that I have come to know through the internet.  I just can't wait to see them all again!

Look at ALL of these wonderful HATS!

Yours truly with dear Ginger of Bearbits.  She and her dear husband, Jay, took me under their wing for the weekend and introduced me to so many wonderful people.  Meeting Ginger was one of the highlights of my trip.  She is just so warm, sweet, and welcoming--exactly like her adorable bears and wonderful blog.

Here's Ginger and her sweet husband, Jay, at her booth on the big day.

Yes, me again, but this time I'm with Elanor of Shantock Bears.  I really ejnoyed getting to know Elanor and her dear one, Lex.  How I wish I could live near all of these wonderful people, but, alas, Elanor and Lex live in England.  Hopefully we'll be able to see them in their neck of the woods someday.  I know our girls are voting for that!

And, of course, one can never forget dear, sweet Darlene of Raspbeary Bears! Here she is surrounded by her lovely bears.  She is just SO thoughtful and sweet--you can't say enough wonderful things about Darlene!

Here's a great shot of Tyler of Teds 'n Such with two of his critters in the background. It was a real joy to get to know him.  You just have to check out his blog HERE.

It was so wonderful to meet Daphne of Back Road Bears. The weekend was SO busy--my one regret was not having enough time to spend talking and getting to know sweet Daphne better.

Our girls really loved seeing all of the amazing bears at the show, but I believe the highlight of the bear show for them was being introduced to and talking with their favorite teddy bear mystery writer, John J. Lamb!

Life is GOOD!

  1. Dearest Cheryl,

Yippee, you are healed. Please go easy and don't overdo, it's so easy to say - ha, but follow my own advice, that is another story.

Thank you for sharing the wonderful photo album. Have you noticed that you never see a grumpy face at a teddy bear show? They warm hearts and bring out smiles.

    Heaps of Hugs,

(and the Girls, of course). They are busy eating honey and that comes first. Their stomachs rule!!!! Hahahahaha
