Alas, my mother-in-law is leaving for home on the evening train today. We've had a lovely visit. She and the girls spent their free time making some sweet Pocket Pixies by Gingermelon Dolls. Don't you think that all three of them turned out absolutely adorable?!
Below is my mother-in-law's doll, Genevieve Marie--a great friend of Madeline (from the book) and also an orphan.
Introducing Katia, my 16-year-old's sweetie. You can't see it, but she has a cute streak of red in her hair.
And last, but not least, this is the lovely Anastasia made by our 13-year-old (also known as our cookie-baker elf).
I think their busy-ness certainly paid off with sweet dolls all around!
Warmly,
Cheryl

Hi Cheryl,
ReplyDeleteThese are, by far, the cutest little dolls I have ever seen. I love their little faces.
A very talented family....
Hugs
They turned out really well, and how lovely that they got to make them with their granny.
ReplyDeleteGreat job by all, glad you enjoyed your visit
ReplyDeleteWhat a great Mother-in-law! One who crafts with the kids!! That is fantastic! And I LOVE Gingermelon's dolls :)
ReplyDeleteThey all had a lot of fun making the dolls. In fact, our cookie-baker elf who does a great job with handwork but isn't the most interested in it, has already started making another new doll!
ReplyDeleteWarmly,
Cheryl
