It's funny how life changes a person. I used to be the ultimate in procrastination--I had it down to a science all those years I was in school. But now, I prepare for things SO early in order to keep my stress levels down. It helps me to keep functioning, I suppose.
So here it is about three weeks from the Teddy Bear Artist Invitation (TBAI) in Binghamton, New York and I've made all the bears I was planning on making for it as well as finishing three bears to go to Silly Bears for the September Hugglets show. In my spare time these past couple of days (since I've returned to my job as a home school mom), I've started dong all the nitty-gritty things like making hangtags for the bears, Bingle Bears shopping bags, and a table cloth for my show table. I'm hoping I'll finish these tasks tomorrow or Friday and then I'm ready for the show--basically three weeks early. I'm such a silly sausage!
So if all goes as planned, I'll have at least 2 weeks to just putter. I think I'll try making an extra bear or two to bring to TBAI. Maybe I'll even design a new pattern! In the meantime, I'll show you some close-ups of bears I'm taking with me.
Have a great day!!
Heaps of Hugs,
Cheryl
P.S. I'm told that I'm featured in the latest issue of "Teddy Bears and Friends" as one of nine up-and-coming artists. I haven't seen the issue yet, so I'll cross my fingers that it turns out all right.

Aww, love that wee face! Congrats on your magazine feature too :o)

Thanks, Shell! I still have a few things to do in the next couple of days. The way I figure it is that I'll realize that I've forgotten to do a whole mess of things in the week right before the show--I want to make sure I have the time to do them! LOL!

Cheryl
