Scotland Bears

I thought you might like to see the bears that went to Scotland.  These three were introduced on Saturday at Silly Bears.

Timothy (16 inches)

Patrick (12 inches)

Maggie (14 inches)

As of this morning, Timothy and Patrick were already adopted, but Maggie was still looking for a new home.  If you would like to see more about her, you can see her at Silly Bear's website.

Two New Bears

Hi everyone!  I thought you might like to meet Colin (15 1/2") and Adelaide (14 1/2") who have just traveled to their new home in Maryland.

I'm working like a maniac on new bears to bring to TBAI--well, as maniacal as I ever can work.  :-)  I have six finished and two more which should be done in the next week.  However, I may have to stop there since I have three bears to make for Silly Bears that are due in August as well.  I'm hoping I may get one or two more made in addition to the eight for TBAI, but with vacations I may just have to accept that it may not happen.  (But I'm still going to try!!)

Warmly,
Cheryl

TBR Article About Me and My Bears!!

WOW!  Unbelievable!  The August 2011 edition of the Teddy Bear Review has just come out and there is a wonderful article about me and my bears in it called "Bear Therapy."  Six whole pages!!!  I'm absolutely tickled pink!

I couldn't believe it when the editor from TBR asked me if I would like to be interviewed for a feature article.  Unbelievable!  And now, to see it in "print"!  WOW!  I feel so honored.  I still have only seen the digital version online--I can't wait for my copy of the magazine to come in the mail so I can hold it in my grubby little hands!

Heaps of Hugs,
Cheryl

Senior Photos

Matt took our eldest daughter's senior portraits this weekend and they both did a fabulous job.  She looks so beautiful!  And so grown up.  (sigh)  It's hard to believe she'll be starting college in the fall.  My homeschool days with her are coming to an end very shortly.  However, I'm so glad that I had all that extra time with her--she is such a delight!

And as for Matt, he does some really beautiful work, but he gets really nervous doing senior portraits.  I think he feels that they need to be perfect.  Personally, I think he was "spot on" for these.  If you're into photography perhaps you would like to check out his website at http://www.mhutchinsonphotography.com/.

Warmly,
Cheryl
