Thanks everyone! My daughter is just glowing from the compliments. And I'm glad to report that I have finished the sewing for my swap ornament--Yippee! I'm also glad to hear that I'm not the only one who drags her feet when it comes to non-bear sewing. :-)

I'm sure my daughter will be thrilled with your compliment of her bear. As for buttons, I honestly can't remember anyone in my family asking me to sew on a button. I must have made my dislike of sewing too well known that they didn't even dare ask. However, I am quite well known for asking my 15-year-old to sew buttons on for me!
